OPI Dutch ya just love opi?
This was my manicure for today. I bought it because I wanted another color, and this came free. I didn't really care for it in the bottle, but I love it on! It's a plum kind of color with a bunch of super micro glitter, kind of gold-yellow.
I think this applied nicely, it took 2 coats to look opaque which surprised me, because I thought it'd be worse than that. I really enjoy this color because I love purples, and I am glad I decided to add it to my collection :)
Ps I know the photo has a filter, but like I said I'm using crappy iPhone photos. The filter makes the picture look as close to real life as I could get it.

Hello again!
I am back! It has been a while, I know. But with school and all that jazz, it was getting very hard for me to post regularly.
I am happy to say that I have found an iPhone app for my blog, so I can now post from my phone! This helps me a lot because I absolutely HATE my laptop, it's the slowest thing EVER! So I am going to say now that a lot of my pictures are going to be iPhone quality unless I have the time to take better quality photos.
I am glad to be back, and I hope that everyone forgives me for being gone so long! :)
Side note: I'm going to be going through my phone and posting a lot of photos that I failed to upload the past few months, so get ready for some spam!

Nail Stamping Designs
Hey guys! So I haven't been posting a lot lately, and i apologize! Last week was my first week back at school, so it's going to be a lot harder for me to post as frequently as i used to. I am going to do a short post today, and I am not making any promises, but I will try to get to that China Glaze haul I did tomorrow.
So today I'm just going to show you guys some pictures of some nail designs I have been doing with my stamping discs. Although I haven't been posting as much, I have always been taking pictures of my work. I am going to post a bunch of pictures below with no descriptions, because it will take me forever to name all of the colours I used. Some of them are going to be crappy quality... because some of the pictures I had taken with my phone.
So that's all of them so far! Oh, and I also have very sad news! I broke my thumb nail :(
I don't even know how it happened! I was so so sad though. It ruined my day. I decided to cut all the rest short because I was frustrated. So now I'm just trying to grow them back.

Nail Stamping Collection
So I said the other day I'd post my China Glaze haul. I didn't get around to that! So I decided to just show you guys my new nail discs that I got for Christmas. My boyfriend's mom bought me a kit containing 16 discs I believe. I am not sure what brand they are, they just came in a clear little Ziploc bag. I think she got them at the "as seen on TV" store. My mom bought me the Bundle Monster 25pc kit. Here is the no-name discs:
I really enjoyed these (until I used Bundle Monster). They're definitely better than the ones I got first, but not near as great as Bundle Monster. I used some of these ones, and they are decent if you don't have much money to buy the better ones. They stamp efficiently, but you need to be careful what nail polish you use. Not all of them work with these discs. I think it's because the designs aren't deep enough, that's my guess anyways. Overall, they're worth buying if you can't access the Bundle Monster ones.
These are the Bundle Monster plates. As you can see, the designs are larger, and most cover your whole nail. I definitely prefer these plates out of all the plates I now own. They work with any nail polish. I found with thinner colours I just needed to apply the polish, scrape the excess, and apply more polish and scape again. This ended up working just fine. I like the variety of designs you get here, and I like the backing of these plates:
They have a plastic sticker-like coating on the back. This makes them a little thicker, so you don't feell ike you're going to slice your hand off when you pick them up. I like this feature alot!
I think the Bundle Monster ones are my favourite so far. I love them all! I will post photos of designs I did later.

OPI Haul
Hey guys! So sorry I haven't posted in a while. But even though I haven't been posting, I've been buying lots of nail polish and have been super busy Konad-ing. I will try my best to post a review on my new stamping discs tomorrow, although I plan to do a review on all of my new China Glaze colours.
So today I'm posting on 3 OPI colours I purchased the other day. 2 are from the Touring America Collection, and the other 1 is an older colour, from the South Beach collection (2009 I believe). I got "I Eat Mainely Lobster", as well as "My Address is Hollywood", and I got "Suzi & the Lifeguard".
I bought I Eat Mainely Shrimp full price at Trade Secrets. The other 2 I got on sale! There is this local hair salon that sells OPI colours for $7.00 each, or 2 for $12.00. What a deal! I was shocked to see that the Touring America collection was in this bin, because it's so recent. I grabbed 2 other colours from the touring America collection from this bin once before.
Well, I have been wanting "My Address is Hollywood" forever. I didn't care much for the colour... I really wanted it because of the name of it! I have always wanted to go to Hollywood, so I had to have this colour because of the name of it. I saw it in this discount bin once, and had no money for it. When I went back with money, it was gone. So I have been waiting months to see it back in the discount bin. I finally saw it yesterday. I picked up Suzi & the Lifeguard as well, just because it's a better deal to buy 2. Here is My Address is Hollywood:
This is after 3 coats. I probably could have gotten away with 2, but I was wearing black before I did these swatches and it was really difficult to get off fully. So I did a 3rd coat to cover that up. So you know how I said that I bought this just because of the name? Well I am more in love with this colour than ever! I didn't care for it much, but I absolutely love it on. It's not as bright pink in real life as it is in this picture. It's more pale. It is a light peachy pink with a ton of micro glitter. You can see the glitter in the bottle, but when you have it on your nails its more subtle. I really like this colour, and I would recommend it. It applies nicely, and is a wonderful colour on. Here is I eat Mainely Shrimp:
This is also 3 coats. In my opinion, this one needs 3 coats to cover nicely. It is a nice colour. It is a little more on the orange-red side compared to My Address is Hollywood. It also has the micro glitter. Again, easier to see in the bottle than on the nail. I love this colour in the bottle which is why I bought it, but I am sad to say I don't like the colour of it against my skin. I am hoping it will look nicer in the summer, because I really love it a a lot. I would recommend this colour, it is a really nice shade. But I also think it will work better as a summer shade. Here is Suzi & The Lifeguard:
This is 3 coats. It definitely needs 3. I bought this one because I needed a second polish and it happened to be sitting there, and I am so glad I did! It is a wonderful colour. It's a pearly pastel pink, with a tiny hit of peach. You can't see that here though. I think the micro glitter makes it look peachy in certain light. I thought this would go on really sheer, but it didn't really. It's a nice application. It doesn't go on really streaky, and you can almost get away with it in 2 coats. I would definitely recommend this colour. I didn't want to take it off after I swatched it! I think I will wear it tomorrow. I would have kept it on, but I already had something else in mind. I wanted to do a twist on a french manicure. I decided to take a picture to show you guys, because I loved the turnout. Here it is:
This is freehand tips using China Glaze Shocking Pink (Neon). Just a simple French, but I loved it so I had to share it with you. Also, I wanted to show off how long my nails are! This is the longest they have been in my life, and I am super proud! :)

Finger Paints Flecked
I found this beauty while I was at Sally the other day with my boyfriend. It was hidden back far on a bottom shelf, and I have been looking for a flaky glitter for AGES! Ever since I saw Nfu-Oh's glitter, I have been on a desperate hunt for a glitter of this type. These glitters are very unique, and look awesome. I wore it for one day and I got quite a few compliments on how cool my nails looked! Anyways, so I saw this on the shelf but I wasn't too sure if I wanted it. It isn't a multi-coloured glitter like I have been searching for, so I was unsure. When I got home, I looked it up. And I discovered that it's 1 of 5 in Finger Paints' Winter collection! It isn't supposed to be out until later in January! I rushed back and grabbed one, and I don't regret it. I will definitely be grabbing a few of the other glitters as soon as my Sally's has them available! Here it is:
This one is "Flecked". It is greenish-yellowish glitter flakes that shimmer blue in the light. It looks kind of thick here, but it is definitely only for use as a top coat. I put it on a naked nail to test it, and you can hardly see it. So I decided to coat it over top of black, and this is how it turned out:
This is OPI Black Onyx (2 coats) with 2 coats of Flecked. It is very hard to capture all the colours. This is the best photo I got. On my ring ringer you can see a little bit of the blue shimmery effect. This glitter is mainly green, with hints of blue like I said above. I love it! It is subtle in certain lighting, and at times it looks like I'm just wearing black polish. But when you catch it in the right light, it's beautiful! I could not stop looking at my nails all day, and I felt bad when I had to take it off! I would really recommend this. I will surely be buying the other varieties when they are available!
